Here's a my love story about IFC Center in NYC: "It was a crisp autumn evening in the city that never sleeps. Sarah, a film enthusiast, stumbled upon the IFC Center in Greenwich Village. As she pushed open the doors, she met Alex, a fellow cinephile. Their eyes locked, and the reels of fate began to spin. Under the dim glow of the marquee, they discovered a shared passion for indie films and adventurous storytelling. As they watched the credits roll, their connection grew stronger. Strolls through the West Village, hand in hand, followed, with conversations flowing like the Hudson River. The IFC Center became their haven, a place where love and cinema intertwined. One fateful night, Alex took Sarah back to the IFC Center, got down on one knee, and asked her to be his co-star in life. Tears of joy streaming, she said yes. Years later, they returned to the IFC Center, hand in hand, to screen their own love story – a film that would inspire others to find their own cinematic happily-ever-after." Claudio Silvan

Awesome indie theatre with comfy seats and a warm old school movie vibe! We saw the vintage Christmas movie It’s a wonderful life here around Christmas time and the daughter of one of the main actress did a q and a before the movie. It’s a unique fun experience, they are efficient and concession food is reasonably priced for the movies.

First time at this independent theater. Smaller than the regular "brand name ones", but still feels cozy - albeit being old. It was an experience. Saw a movie on the struggles of illegal migrants.

Terrific little cinema with interesting programming - arthouse, repertory and documentaries. Comfy seats are a pleasant surprise too.

I’ve always passed by this theater for years. Growing up, I was always curious but I never went. This wasn’t until I saw my friend’s movie where he was the assistant editor to the movie ghostlight. It is a heart warming movie with one of the leads being from the movie triangle of sadness where she rocked the role. We need to support more independent films and you should check out ghostlight. It’ll really make my friend happy as this is one of the most important movies of his career. Don’t disappoint him. He’s really tall and I heard tall people have a shorter lifespan than us short kings.
